Stress Free Wedding Planning Tips

So, he just told you how lucky he is to have a loving girlfriend like you, elaborated how his life changed since he met you, got down on his knees, flashed a very precious ring, let you know that he wants to be with you from now til forever, and then popped the big question – “Will you marry me?”  You burst into tears, hugged your partner who is more than willing to spend the rest of his life with you. And then you said yes. What’s next? You get to enjoy this joyful moment for a while, then you begin organizing the wedding itself.

The wedding day is one of the most romantic and unforgettable moments in every loving couple’s life. The wedding preparation, however, is one of the most stressful activities every pair has to go through before actually living happily ever after. From the guests, to the venue, the date, the theme, up to the food for reception – everything has got to be well prepared and planned for the wedding to run amazingly perfect.

Hey! Planning is fun. But, because it causes too much stress, it can also put your relationship and handling skills to the test. So, here are some planning tips that’ll keep you and your partner away from the most unwanted dilemma – lover’s quarrel.

  • Before anything else, set the date. Let it be your Anniversary when you were just boyfriend and girlfriend, or any special date you think can shower your wedding with fine weather and a sufficient number of guests. Setting the date will easily help you create a detailed schedule and timeline of all the things you need to prepare and accomplish before getting married.

  • Start discussing about the wedding budget. Be watchful of your family’s financial boundaries, and do estimate how much both parties can practically afford before actually going into debt. To save money, buy or produce an organizational tool wherein you can take apart your budget for your dress, wedding venue, reception venue, food, giveaways, and anything else you might find important and needed for your wedding.  List them all down and look for a certain shop or store that offers your needed items at your most preferred price.

  • Make a list of all the guests and estimate of how many people are going to come to your wedding. After that, start looking for the perfect location. Locate the most romantic wedding venues in Tagaytay, Cavite, or Boracay, and make sure they have the most mesmerizing amenities you and the whole crowd could enjoy.

  • Enjoy your last moments as boyfriend and girlfriend. No matter how exhausting the whole organizing process may take, learn to play it cool and still be that cheesy and romantic couple you’ve always been.

Working together to successfully produce a wonderful event will help soon-to-be married couples grow up and deal with all the challenges that will possibly come their way not just in the organizing process, but all throughout your marriage as well. Weddings are a kick-off event for the bride, the groom, and their whole family. Aside from the fact that all your friends and family are all going to be there to witness and support you on your special day, it is going to be the representation that you guys enthusiastically entered an eternal wedded life.
