Wedding Playlist That Can Make You Fall In Love All Over Again (Volume 2)

first_dance

A wedding is one of the most romantic events in a person’s life. There are laughter, tears, nostalgic moments and most importantly, celebration of love.

If you’re tired of the usual cheesy sappy songs to awkwardly dance to, give your playlist a spin. Let your guests share the same feelings as you and share with them songs that are special to you and your better half. We have previously gave you a playlist that can make you fall in love all over again. But since we love you that much (as much as we love celebrating weddings here at Villa de Oro Tagaytay), we want to spoil you with more!

“I Don’t Want to Live Forever” – Taylor Swift featuring Zayn Malik

“I don’t wanna live forever
‘Cause I know I’ll be livin‘ in vain
And I don’t wanna fit wherever
I just wanna keep callin‘ your name
Until you come back home”

If you don’t like the usual sappy love song, a little bit of electro-rnb is the right fix for you. Give this song a spin when you’re having your slow dance with your partner. It’s the perfect song which sings of feeling longing and lifelessness when you’re not with your beloved, pretty much like how we really feel when they are away.

“Can’t Stop the Feeling” – Justin Timberlake

” cause I got that sunshine in my pocket
Got that good soul in my feet
I feel that hot blood in my body when it drops, ooh
I can’t take my eyes up off it, moving so phenomenally
Room on lock the way we rock it, so don’t stop”

Taking a pause from all that slow dance, try a little bit of lively music to groove to. Grab you little brothers, or goof around with your father as you dance. Express your happiness and excitement that the special day you both have been waiting for has finally come.

“This Town” – Niall Horan

If the whole world was watching I’d still dance with you
Drive highways and byways to be there with you
Over and over the only truth
Everything comes back to you”

Marrying your high school sweetheart? This song is perfect to give you the feeling of nostalgia. It’s like saying to your partner ‘Look how far we’ve come, we’re finally here”.

“Say You Won’t Let Go”- James Arthur

I’m so in love with you
And I hope you know
Darling, your love is more than worth its weight in gold
We’ve come so far, my dear
Look how we’ve grown
And I wanna stay with you
Until we’re grey and old
Just say you won’t let go
Just say you won’t let go”

Celebrate the times you’ve been together, the ups and downs of your relationship and the joys your union brings. This song celebrates the times you have been together, and looks forward to the years to come wherein you will grow old together.

“Sweet Creature” – Harry Styles

Sweet creature, sweet creature
Wherever I go, you bring me home
Sweet creature, sweet creature
When I run out of road, you bring me home”

When you marry someone, he/she becomes your home. The one person you feel the safest, and the happiest with. Tell your special someone the heartwarming message, over and over, starting with your very first dance.

Your theme song

This shouldn’t be missing in your wedding playlist. Your theme song represents your love story as a couple and reminds you of what you both went through to get to this day (sounds like your teleserye, but who cares?) Although this song was not written especially for you, the words behind the lyrics places a great meaning to the two of you. You can be playing Bohemian Rhapsody, but who cares? It’s your theme song, so don’t be shy to play it as you dance.

Get your groove on and enjoy your special day. Cheers and congratulations! Want more of your playlist? Stay tuned for more.  (photo courtesy of  usa.publiboda.com)
